[Torchlight 2] Outlander level 100 MAX-OUT Test Run and Final Boss

I was holding this video for so long...
There is another at lvl 31 I made long time ago.
You will understand on the test run how powerfull it can be tanking with the good HP/recover skills. But is not like most tanky or dps on the game (by definition is balance). Enjoy!.

Heck! I maxed out my Outlander without cheats!! it took 5-6 weeks of grinding and I even tried fighting without armor!! it was crazy dude...

I'm 33 years old, If I show you how much grind I did in the past on others RPG games you would not complain about me using cheats on this one. Like playing 24/7 and been top 1 on some server is not something I'm proud, because is just time wasted on a game, the more free-time you have the more powerfull you get. But I did enjoy been OP on some servers with all the grind I did, specially when I was a teenage.

I like this game so much, maybe because I'm tired of Diablo 3. I'm only lv 40(playing on PS4). For now I'm heavy using 2 guns, but I'm might change in the future

Try also Grim Dawn, both are great games. Only issues is the lack of multiplayer servers. Grim Dawn also have item editor tools for when you get a bit bored, but if you can avoid them, you will enjoy the game for longer period of time.

hi there! on your gear, how did you acquire the enchantments which boost your str/dex/focus/vitality so much?

Duplicate the same item over and over once you get 1st good enchant, also used test-room for easy find of enchanter. Took me like maybe 20hrs to set-up the enchants correctly but was tottaly worth it.

Interesting, never though of that. Also there's a mod someone made that removes the enchant limit if you really want to cheat lol. So you could literally stand there all day throwing stat enchants on your gear with no upward limit.

Kamijo...One thing is to max out with an editor, the others is to test game mecanics and see how far can you go with the random multiplier ON. This build is a 100% theoreticaly possible build, like real max out. Same goes with my other video of Hellgate Londong, took me like a month of none-duplicated items toss to the trash only cause enchant fail and item was useless (I could not even get close as I spected), there forth is also max theoreticaly possible, since I made it with all the tool of the game in hand.

Long time I don't play the game but I balance all the stat best I could, I test 100+ here -100 there and that was most balance I could find. You can go full DPS with 1500STR but you will run out of mana and go low on defense and HP if you do this. Like I stated on the video was the most balance build I could find, did lot of research, test in hardest scenarios and that's why you see some "unecesary" skills like mana recover on the set and HP regen. Dex was required to max out crit chance I think, can't recall how engine worked out at the moment. Game was not completly balance, for extreme dps focus was complete broke, rendering weapons useless and working arround skills was way better for DPS. But since everyone was doing the same stuff on KZbin I went my own way with a full elemental bow, tanky, self healh caracter that never run out of mana and clean a room with range. Like a unique build if you know what I mean. I played the game without cheat for a long time and then just research about all items and how to find them, endup using the console to cheat and braking items on the magic box to get new ones without that "cheat" tag on them ^_^. For enchant I use that map hack that put all enchanter together and play arround for days with all the posibilitys.

Yes is the ELITE (max). In party they multiply the dmg but also you get some buff that can make you almost immortal with this build (enginner mana shield)

198 dex amulet enchant 4 , how many time did u enchanted it ..

Long time I don't play so I forgot most things, but if you read old messages you see the answers... It might take 100 or more times to get those sort of options, if you duplicate items having first enchant correctly it does make the job way easier and so I did. The game has a weird enchant system that force you to find the enchanters on different regions but you could try using a test map where you find all of them together (google it). One thing I did carefully was to max my stat for maximum efficient, so after 500dex there is no point investing any more, then you need to balance focus/str for maximum output damage since both affect overall damage base on the weapon I use and skillset I chose.

Yep is cheating, something you do on this game at some point when you get bored. But take lot of work to get all items, gems and put all together (knowledge of the game). Same as Hellgate Global a game I play for almost 2 years and then when game was closing his server, a extreme item editor arrive, making perfect builds possible. This game share local information with internet account so is easy to edit your char and later use it to play online. You also have mods that introduce new stuff to the game, is just like old diablo 2, same deal ;)

Most likely adds 3 at Borris, then 1 at the Grandmaster enchanter.

What cheat did you use ?

Google for Item editor and "Respect" for Torchlight. I can't recall the name of this programs: "TIDBI-eng v1.05" and "TL2RRv204" They are very user friendly. Also you might need to use the console and that you can find easy on the by searching for "cheat codes" for torchlight 2. Another thing that could help you is Torchlight 2 Wikipedia with all the items listed. to remove "Cheat items" from you things you can use the machine on the game and mix several legendary items to get randoms of similar level. You eventually get all items on games, the special rings/gems are a bit tricky, no idea if you can edit them, you need to farm special maps or just find a friend that can trade/duplicate them and give you some samples. I got them playing online chating with other cheaters, but sure there are more extreme mods and editors out there. I didn't wonna brake the game maxing out all with numbers on my keyboard, I build all manually and took a lot of time.

How did u get your elemental armour so high without sockrtable embers?

No really sure, seem most of it comes from Jewels 1:00 and there might be a boost +% involve as well, maybe the elemental Master 2:22 but that only apply to damage right? If you see 1000+ is the benefith of the defense aura I pop on the ground all the time for self heal. Maybe Focus atribute boost the elemental defense or was STR? can't recall and since I havent play in a long time...

Vitality attribute gives bonus to elemental armors as well. Though, it doesn't matter at all in the late game since monsters deal tens of thousands of damage. What you need is damage reduction.

You know that fishing minigame? I fish for many hours on ACT II (desert) on the very main town and got this skill cards that allow me to add that skill to my main char and pet as well...Haste is the skill you seek for and I can't even recall where did I put it but I do remember you can only have 2 extra skills of this type.

There is a webpage where you can find all items inside the game, also tutorials on how to find them. I honestly didn't had the patient to farm bosses all day to get them, but is not hard to farm a good boss over an over if you find a speedy way to get in the respawn fast and repeat the process all day. I played Elite solo, was hard as hell without cheating, like you almost get one shoot and need to be extremly carefull, honestly game don't fill like design to be run solo with this support class, but in party sure is far easyer. You definitly need to make a stop on the game at some point and farm some bosses to improve your gear. Still love the pet mecanics on this game, and I don't understand why they didn't make more game with this cool system. Honestamente nose responder tu pregunta, estudié la mecánica del juego para este personaje a fondo, pero no sobre todos los quest, drop spot y demás secretos detras del juego. Me gusta más la matemática detras de los juegos, que conocer toda la historia, mapas, personajes del juego y como funcionan los modos de dificultad en sus diferente etapas (tras finalizar el juego).

@@ThunderKat you're right. About spanish yes, we usually understand, it's VERY similar to portuguese! but english though, is a different matter. I don't know about Joel, but if he's on an english speaking video, we can guess he must understand it, OR he wants to understand from another person that speaks portuguese. I honestly don't know what happens when most of the people comments on a different language from the video. I mean, the video's title shows the OP is a English speaker, and people comments from all different languages. It's not helpful, at all! Oh men long time I haven't play it, no idea...I though pet was a thing you get from the very start when you create your character from scratch, like you can pick from anything from a cat to an eagle or even a panda, but can't recall if I use an item editor to switch my pet later. Probably did, since I use to play around an editor to restore my character back to 0 all the time when I didn't like the stat or skills I added. Now this days developers got a bit more wize and they add skill/stats retrain on their games, but this game was a bit old-style having your stat lock with no solution around (like old Diablo 2), forcing people to end-up using an editor to o fix their issues at end-game.

What are your stats without the gear on?

I deffinitly have no clue, you need to balance point base on your gear. Most of the point come from the gear, once you manage to put it on you add points to balance the caracter. 1K-500-500-500 was my goal, later I found out that adding more focus was better for overall damage. (600focus > 1100str) There is a webpage where you can see how stats change your skills and overall damage. Can't recall it but sure is easy to find if you google it. Stat/skill calculator for torchlight 2. You see some skill are affected by STR, other by Focus and well Vitality boost your defense with a multiplier (including elementals). There are limitations to all of them, crit chances cap at 95%?, same with STR, there is a point where you don't gain much once you reach the limit caps, you see all this in that webpage and understand why you are force to have a balance all arround the stats.
