Very very gorgeous version of one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Tori and Joni are my favorite artists ever, and I know they will be till the end of my life. I confess it is sad seeing her face so tight and in a mask, I miss Tori’s original face with all its wonderful expressions. I am allowed to feel that way. She is one of the most beautiful women who ever lived, and I would’ve loved to see her age naturally, but that is another topic. Gorgeous gorgeous version, truly filled with love.

Ugh I went to the bathroom right before she started this song. I was so upset I was missing it, I literally ran back to my seat. I will never drink beer before a Tori concert again.

Well I could drink A Case of You Darling ..and I would still be on my ...Oh Steele I’d be on my Feet’ This has been my song for twenty years ..way before knowing my boyfriend/daughters father and his name is Case Steele ...this song is such a metaphor or prediction of our lives ..even 13 years ago when we met the first time, before dating finally in 12’ ...the original is done by Joni Mitchell..but Tori and I go way back to the early 90’s with blood roses 🥀 ...my mom was in the hospital and I heard crucify and then started listening to even older Tori ..I was 9...so when I heard she covered “case of You”... it flipped me out hardcore.

Isn't she just so adorable? I wanna pinch her cheeks. But this rendition is very odd. She has stripped the song of all of its original distinct and unique charm. Joni's ingenious melodic structure and inflection are replaced with a much more mainstream, pedestrian delivery, Tori's vocal flourishes nowhere near as compelling or creative as Joni's startlingly unexpected changes. But it's a nice and pretty version. Cute kid, that Tori.
