Tori had a number of fantastic songs that were not featured on the original albums.. I'm glad I collected all those Cd singles with often 2 or 3 rare tracks, some being real gems, like Honey. I think this should have been the A-side of a single.

So annoying when you already have both albums (the originals) - is it worth buying them again just for the rarities? I love Tori's music but this is no way to treat fans.

To be fair though, the rarities aren't really rare - if you really want them, you can get them anywhere, but if you believe in paying for music and supporting artists who you respect I don't see why you wouldn't be pleased that you can buy them all in one place. Unless you're a collector and you want to own the singles, this package will cost way less than hunting down upward of ten to fifteen out of print CD singles. Also, these tracks have been reconditioned - most of the fans I know are most excited about finally having a remastered version of Space Dog, let alone the b sides, and would pay for that alone, but if you are happy with your CD's from the early 90's, no one will force you to buy them.

It's either have the originals only or buy the newer edition. It's not like something is being taken away; you are just able to buy something new if you want. It's entirely up to you. Either way, you aren't any worse off than if it wasn't released.

The record companies do this to sell more records. The remastering will make the original album sound different. You might like the sound better, or you might not.... If it is done right, the remastering could possibly make it sound better. As long as they don't overcompress it and suck all the dynamics out.
