Tori was my first true love of music. She inspired me to embrace my own creativity. As a survivor she taugh me how to love myself. As a daughter who adores her mother that has terminal Endometrial cancer this rings different today. I found her music therapeutic after suffering 9 miscarriages while trying to get pregnant. All followed by chemo and total hysterectomy by age 29...... I feel like Tori writes my story, so similar to her own in my early years... Tori is 100% the soundtrack of my life. I am 41 and I love her just as much now as I did then. What a completely stunning and generative polymath.

There's no words to process what I am feeling right now. To see Tori step back and lend the leading role to her daughter, herself being a force of nature like her mother... That is a testament of motherly love, that is Tori promising Tash to be there even when she spread her wings and fly solo. You can see their chemistry in both voice and posture, and I'm really proud for both Tori and Tash to have this connection. Thank you both for this moment of inspiration and love. I hope one day (even as a gay man) to have a child of my own, to share moments of inspiration and to help growing up fully realized like you do.

Her daughter sounds like any number of other wannabe Beyonce/Rhiannon clones polluting the world's Sound Space. I'm not someone's daughter, I don't have a daughter, and yet I still couldn't stop myself from tearing up when I first heard this song. You really need to hear it on the album to feel its full impact, as the video cuts out a full minute of the song. It's a beautiful, timeless expression of the unbreakable bond between parent and child, one that acknowledges the darker parts of life - doubts, fears, "breaking down" - without dismissing or romanticizing them. It shows how parents and children mutually depend on each other for support and emotional sustenance, which is what sets it apart from so many other "mother-daughter" songs out there. It's one of my favorite songs of the year.

I think it's my favourite of the album. Daughter and mother, two great voices. Saw Tori Amos in Paris, listen to her music from the age of 14, for 24 years now. My favourite female singer. For me Tori Amos = feminity (I hope this sounds not too stupid, i hope you understand what i mean)
