There is no talent or voice in this universe like this being. She is a force of nature like wind, fire, and water. Her voice is like the elements. She breaks me and builds me up. I have been listening to her for decades, she is so Amazing and genuine. Her music has saved and shaped me. Thank you. Blessings to her. Adrian new Meeks.

its so pro how she loses her headphones and keeps playing with one hand, and with the other hand puts them back on, all without losing focus and without missing a beat.

Now THIS is an artist! A fiercely unique and skilled artist (more than a singer-songwriter, a composer) who radiates emotion in her voice and her playing. And I've never seen anyone play live like she does: always immersed in her performance, not hammering it out yet again, one more time, for the crowd. She never performs a song the same way twice. I'm lucky to be alive at the right time to experience her music and just... her. It's been 20 years since I discovered her back in high school and she, like no other artist, still leaves me stupified and mesmerized every damn time like the first time.

who cares I like they do not like it.it means we have open choice to like or dislike many different things and still have a cocktail???fan army mentality is so backwards from what tori me and the universe just look over. You learn a lot. let people be free to choose. And the nut comment is very offensive to me who has struggled with mental health in the past. everyone does, stop the shaming. Tori would boot kick u. trust me. and she is not a goddess. lol lol she ia a cool human artist who has some interesting fans........

I've had the extraordinary privilege of seeing her in concert countless times over the decades. No other artist, songwriter, performer has ever moved my heart and soul the way she does. Her music transcends beyond anything else I have ever experienced. I am so grateful for having been enriched by her.

so free, so gorgeous, so deep, so beautiful. Stunning. She is talking about Bosendorfer pianos at the beginning. And she is such a genius piano player/composer that she rarely ever has to look down at her hands! She is supernaturally gifted!!!!!

Fucking LOVE YOU, T! Always have and always will since "Boys for Pele" saved my spiritual life xXx I feel the same way about harpsichords as you do about pianos, Hon. Keep on finding those keys, Rabbit. Only you can do it in such an extraordinary way. Pls say Hi to the Reindeer King for me, and I'm so sorry for the loss of Mary 😢

I love how she touches the piano like at 2:18 and checks if the vibrations have stooped. She is amazing. Caught a light sneeze just shows off her ability to sing without an instrument to use as reference.

Everyone is talking about how Tori makes them feel and this and that but what I'd really really die to know is what goes on inside her body and soul when she's playing like this like what feelings she's feeling, where her mind is going because I stg she is literally transported to a different dimension and I would literally pay good money just to be in her body just once. She's older now and I rarely get those vibes from her anymore, but when she was younger she just had this god-like aura and there were some times when I was like I'm sure she's transcending.

I would pay good money to be in her body also, like ‘being John Malkovich” when she’s playing live. Saw her recently, she still has it.

Do you think, she loose her Power in age? But her Soul is Same

I saw an interview where she said what we were probably seeing and referring to is how the piano seduces her. Like they were like you look like you’re like…erotic with or something, and she’s like I think you’re witnessing ME being seduced
@bettynelms9899
@bettynelms9899 10 ай бұрын
@@rainerp.8274I think she’s lost a certain strength and magic, you see it rear its head sometimes but not nearly as often, she’s much more head to toe diva with her silk pajama looking outfits and designer heels needing help getting offstage (even before she broke her ankle), whereas back in the day she would go onstage in cargo pants and a plain t shirt or a bathing suit with jeans on top. Her soundcheck outfits are so much more stylish and laid back and less head to toe prissiness: wigs and heavy makeup and big glasses heels and silk head to toe… I just Don’t find her to be the same authentic person, and the plastic surgery hasn’t helped with that disconnect, like it’s hard to see the woman HERE inside current 60 yo Tori. It doesn’t help that she’s pretty embarrassed by the pele era as a whole and often completely leaves it off compilations and such. It’s too bad because she was on a whole different level from pele/DDI tour through FTCH/Plugged 98 and even Venus and the 5 and a half Weeks Tour she still was on fire, SW is great but that’s where we started to go in separate directions and it got worse with beekeeper and then ADP seemed so inauthentic, AATS was awful, I only liked Lady in Blue. O2O and the tour was better but her vocals are just not what they should be, she needs someone to instruct her on how to best use the voice she has now. People say well she’s 60, well Trent Reznor is the same age and puts on as good a show as ever. She’s just surrounded by sycophants and she’s not being challenged musically, just working with her husband on guitar and sound engineering and her daughter and niece doing supporting vocals, like if she would challenge herself, get out of Cornwall, away from subpar guitarist husbands who’ve told her to change her entire writing style to which she said Yes thank you Husband, like what does he know about writing compared to a child prodigy grown into a successful female musician who was once spoken of with the same reverence of Bjork and PJ Harvey, who released a solid decade of perfect albums, and only began to decline once she was locked away from everyone else and I don’t think she even realizes how untalented her husband is yet she lets him play guitar all over her beautiful intricate piano compositions and then brings her daughter in to sing… like the damn Amos family band 🙄 Upsets me because they’ve literally ruined her legacy, you have to say oh yeah do you remember that redhead from the 90s who played piano and sang crucify and silent all these years? Compared to like Bjork, who’s respected by everyone because she’s never compromised her integrity. Tori Amos has unfortunately become guilty pleasure music.

Her first three albums were amazing, then she realized how her label was literally screwing her over, Then she finished her contract by skirting the next 3 albums to give them the least amount of content. Then she was challenged with continuing on her own, and as she got older it all wore her down. I think Tori is one of the most brilliant musicians of my lifetime. I still listen to her music daily from my discovery of her in the 90's till now. And its just her first three albums that I enjoy, maybe some scarlet, and a few others. Its a shame we lost what she could have done if that first deal didn't go so wrong. She got worn down by legalities, and once past her prime, and the fire starts to fade. It was that period where she was imprisoned by her first label that we missed out on the best Tori. She is a genius comparable to Mozart or Beethoven, But the way she uses her voice is just amazing. My Source, Tori's own autobiographical books.

So I've been playing keyboard/piano since I was 5 and eventually opened up a recording studio with my friend. Point is, I've been playing for a lot of years and this chick's headphones fell off twice and she didn't even skip one single freaking note with one hand while putting them back on. Tori is a piano God 🖤 🎹

This was a time when TA was most prolific (and genius), almost on a manic level. Then she started a family and her albums became sugar pop. I still listen to 1/LE through 5/TVaB frequently and will cherish those albums forever.
