I agree. Ariana just mixes much more early on, giving her much more access to her upper belts.
@vivifiedvocals44703 жыл бұрын
@@duane371 I wouldn't say that's a jab to sopranos; everybody's different biologically (not even just vocally). Justin Bieber for example is indeed a high tenor (a very bright, soft, and smaller voice), but I don't think he can belt as high as Shawn Mendes (another high tenor). Just because Justin looses a lot of comfort above G#4/A4 and Shawn is practically talking those notes doesn't make Justin less of a tenor. But the whole ease & comfort thing doesn't really apply when we're talking about Tori & Ari because they practically have the same range. I'd even go as far and say that Tori has a naturally higher instrument than Ariana. I don't look at who's hitting the highest or lowest note. I look at the quality and timbre of the notes themselves. When Ariana talks she sounds like your typical female; you can tell she has a high voice, but nothing out of the ordinary. When listening to Tori she literally sounds treble like at time (especially in the beginning of her career). That's just an observation of mine, but if Ariana actually belted much fuller than what she does now then she'd sound no different than Tori (tessitura wise) and vice versa with Tori. Also... Tori's climatic notes are definitely E5 and above. Once again Tori sings much fuller so she'll have more impact in general than Ariana, but that doesn't lessen the fact that she really starts trying at E5 and above.
@Ryan_K5353 жыл бұрын
@@duane371 I really think she is a soprano to be honest, a light one at that. She doesn’t really possess that depth in the area from E4/F4 as her voice really blossoms A4 and up. When comparing her to Ariana who mixes very early one and is very heady as well, of course she’ll have more power and weighty but otherwise I will look forward to your video.

@@duane371 Actually Kierra and Tori are both sopranos. Not all sopranos are going to sing high notes easily that’s a really big misconception about sopranos. It’s mostly having to do with your technique and the way you sing high notes.
