Tori Spelling ‘Struggling Monetarily’ While Staying in RV With Kids (Source)

Tori Spelling and the five children she shares with her ex, Dean McDermott, are staying in an RV after mold was discovered in their rental home. Now a source tells ET, Tori has been ‘struggling monetarily speaking.’ ‘The mold situation is real, but it has been difficult for her to find a place to stay during it because her financial situation is not great. Tori is doing her best to make things work and take care of her kids.’ In May, Tori opened up to fans on Instagram about the ‘continual spiral of sickness’ her family had experienced due to ‘extreme mold’ in their home.

I lost the stable home I lived in for 10 years due to after effects of covid. Since then I haven't been able to dust myself off, I feel like such a failure for my kids. We moved in with my parents, after months of endless crying bc of the situation, I dusted myself off, working my ass off, I have money in the bank and am putting my son in private school. Living in an RV was my living situation for a year after fleeing from my house one night from my abusive ex. Our circumstances can change in a heartbeat. I cried everyday for a long time. So many are hurting and so many people are struggling. Like Tori said, the key is to keep breathing and keep going. Much respect for her for keeping her kids safe.

That's really messed up. It really is what's wrong with the mom. She reminds me of my mother. She did not take my father on purpose. The lawyer to get the will probated before he died and shared nothing and my father had three houses paid off and around one half a million in the bank. .. things happen.. 3/4 yrs ag0, i was living in my car for a couple days, couldn't do it, not comfortable, let alone its not safe & have keep watching your back too.. so, i couched surfed for couple days.. then, it was AirBnb's, motels, for about 4/5mos. & moving around too different hotels every couple wks to get the best Rate/deals.. it was tough.. finally got my own lil apt. & coulndt be happier :) we ALL go through something, it's what you make of it & good luck too ALL out there!!..

My family got sick from mold in our house and we had to throw everything away and move. Many rentals have mold and make it very difficult for people who get sick from mold and become sensitive. I am so sensitive to mold that I can feel it in many places. She is probably struggling to find a place to live, even new houses have mold issues, but not everyone has problems with it. It is hard to understand unless you have gone through it. It is also very costly to deal with. I hope she finds a clean place to live and heal. Mold can make you seem crazy and spouses don't always understand. My husband didn't get sick and it has been a big strain. It takes a long time to detox from mold and get better and find the right treatment. This scenario happens to a lot for people dealing with mold and our world doesn't understand, my kids think it sounds crazy when I talk about it, but has completely changed my life.

She suggested I could either go & put all in layaway or just get one item at a time. I wouldn’t have ever thought of those options at 12 years old! She was teaching me how to manage money. I decided I wanted to do layaway & every week she took me up & I went in & paid on it. Within a few weeks I was able to my layaway out. It was the best feeling that I was able to do that. You probably didn’t grow up in a poorer household but I didn’t come from wealth. My dad worked hard for my 2 sisters & myself & mom. We grew & raised most of our food.
