It honestly gave me a lot of hope when you said how you met or were getting to know each other when your life was a mess. My entire life has been a mess, or at least a series of different messes, and I always believed and still have trouble with the belief that you have to have everything in order before you can meet the one, or before God will bring you your future spouse. You know, because that's what everyone says. Learn to be happy, be content, stop looking, have a "perfect" relationship with God, have your life in order, get your ducks in a row, and that's just the biggest piece of crap, and it's so damaging too. My life is messy, I'm messy, and I don't see that changing anytime soon, so it's harmful for people like me to hear things like that, because it steals our hope and makes us strive for something that is honestly unatainable, at least for me. So, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for sharing that with us. It will be a great reminder as I work and try to find the truth through the lies I've been told.

This video was so inspiring to me! I moved to Fl two years ago, then my bf of five years who I planned to marry cheated one me 3 weeks of me being here. I went into a severe depression and turned my faith back to God. It took me a year before I decided to start dating again and that showed me God has a bigger plan for me. I also made the decision to go celibate after my experience and I have been going on that journey for over a year now because Im waiting for a Christian man who values my worth. I love when your husband said "Modest is Hottest" I believe that is so true. I believe chivlarary isnt dead and these good men do exist us single ladies just have to be patient with the process. I really enjoyed this video and I ended up taking notes! God bless you both, I pray to God I find a relationship like yours!

Hey! Its the first time i see your videos! I had to stop and write this in the moment you said "that the person you want has to love christ", in my case, i always had like a "scary" idea of talking about god because i was afraid of people making jokes about me, and THEN i met my now boyfriend, who loves god and knows a lot, and i think that god putted him into my life so i could have a better and honest realationship with god, and now, i'm fully surrended to god, my boyfriend is my blessing, i've always prayed and said to god that i wanted to believe in him and he did! He acted through my boyfriend. I fell in love with the way he talked about god, and i started been curious about god and we where at bed i used to asked him things, i remember the first time i encouraged to ask him everything i wanted to know. (Was scared of asking silly things) and we were at a pizza bar, and my boyfriend answered everything to me, and i fell god in his presence and now i beleve in him fully and pray everynight and have him as the centre in our realationship. So yeah guys, throug the "talk" you can lead others to the way of god. Oh, and thank you Jonatan my love for be the best man for me 💜 and thank you lord for never leave me alone

Just to let you know... God will deal with each person’s heart. God dealt with me about brother in church who I have known for a decade and wasn’t attracted to. He doesn’t fit what I would have physically wanted but now I am definitely attracted to him. The Lord changed the way I see him. He is the first guy ever that I told my Pastor that I am interested in. Just waiting on God now. So don’t lose hope.
@xissyck67534 жыл бұрын
There's drawbacks to physical attractiveness too, like attracting the wrong crowd/people, harder to trust people's intentions and sincerity, seeking security in the wrong places (ie. Looks may matter in the moment, but they don't last)... gratitude and grace to you in whatever you're going through :)

The ancient Romans had a saying; "The eyes lead in love." I think therefore that Chad's first answer probably has more than a grain of truth in it -- but at the same time, merely being beautiful (which is, after all, in the eyes of the beholder) isn't enough by itself... There has to be an inner "beauty" too.

Regarding how wives dress: a few years ago an old boyfriend from high school came to visit me. By then he had been married and divorced twice. I asked him why his first marriage ended in divorce. He said he didn't like how she was dressing and that she was going to bars. A guy knows that when a woman dresses immodestly she is trying to attract the attention of other men. It doesn't work well for marriage.

The very first question he was asked was : What was the first thing you were attracted to about me? And then he answered her exactly how the question was worded by saying her legs. But Jess didnt like that. Perhaps then you should have worded the question to what it was you wanted answered. like: What was the first non-physical thing you were attracted to about me? It's almost as if a Christian man expressing what he physically likes in a woman is frowned upon.

I have a question I'm confused about. My heart is very eager and feels ready to be in a relationship but I've always known I want to wait for God to lead me to the person I'm meant to be with. However do I wait absolutely as long as it takes for God to say it's time because to be honest I feel very impatient right now. In one of the videos on this topic you were also talking about a Christian dating app. If I'm supposed to wait on God's timing joining a dating app doesn't seem like waiting on God's perfect timing. I'm having a really hard time being ok with not being in a relationship and I don't know how to stop from feeling like this. I want to continue to learn from my singleness and what God wants me to learn but I'm telling you I'm watching every single friend get engaged and get a boyfriend and I just want that so bad but I don't want to get impatient and end up with the wrong person.I really need advice and prayers.
@laFrancaise8062 жыл бұрын
I understand you, but you know, God will not give you a husband if you are impatient because in this period he teaches you to be patient. When on you heart, you will be able to think « I don’t need a husband, I have all I need in God » and you realise it, God will know that you have learned patience and what is the priority and that you are not getting married for the wrong reasons, so he will be more willing to give you someone. you know, we don't get married for ourselves, we get married to accomplish what God wants for us. The goal in itself is not to marry to marry but God works us through our seasons. God has already traced the path he had for you, so if you serve him in your life, if you do what God asks you to do in this season, you will be walking on the right path, where God has prepared someone for you in this way. so if I can give you advice, approach God, that your heart be pure and that you do not make marriage an idol but that God is in the first place (spend time with God, and talk to him, have a relationship with him and sanctify your heart). Then serve him where he calls you, and through this service that God has prepared for you, you will find the right person that God has for you.
@laFrancaise8062 жыл бұрын
When I read you, I see that you are « between to chairs » in your heart. You know what is good to do, you listened a lot of things but your heart is not really changed. You have to trust God. When you look to your past, I’m sure your can see that God has always been faithful. So know you have to make the final decision to trust him, and stop clinging to your fears but trust God, show him that you are faithful to him too. It might sound weird but read chapter 3 of the book of Revelations.
@Chris-kl5rw2 жыл бұрын
These two seem to be truly happy . Now for the critique, I'm taking what they said the "Christianity" as subjective and assuming that they recently married with a child on the way tells me that they've invested a great deal into themselves and their marriage. That being said, their "faith" in god would most likely never be tested to the degree of them seperating . They probably both are college educated, have resonably good jobs, and a roof over their heads. So yeah the religion aspect, in my objective opinion, is icing on the cake. Most likely like a majority of christians, havent read the bible all the way through just cherrypicked. No worries, at least none that would be seen by the public, and when things do get alittle tough for them they have an imaginary friend to turn to for help not realizing that its themselves.

@viktoriax72283 жыл бұрын
Hahaah. I don't like when a man tells me after the first or a couple of dates that he is sick.For me is a turn off. There other ways to understand if a girl is caring or not. And in fact it' s not in the begining of knowing a person, and he need to be patient to discover. If that happen early I cant go out with that person. It looks like he is needy and overall immature. This could happen when you are somewhat closer with each other. And about the questions that you do to know the others: I belive that its better to see and understand with your eyes and with the future wife attitude and not how she could respond. She probably says the opposite of what she do in reality. A wise man dosen't want things ready in a plate but try to discover it.
