living on base in Agnano (Napoli) from 1987-1991 and hearing the American and Italian anthems every mornign and sundown for those years, and then being on the COlor ceremony details up at the Naval Hospital compound itself for 3 of those, I learned to love the Inno di Mamelli and memorized it's words. 29 years after shipping back to the USA, I still get profoundly choked up and emotional when hearing it.. and generally ALWAYS sing along.

I had said that I would love to see Turino 2006 among others in the comment section in the Sydney 2000 Opening Ceremony, and either this is a coincidence or they have listened. I'm so glad that they are putting up full length ceremonies on KZbin at last. And right now it seems that they're alternating between Winter opening Ceremony and Summer Opening Ceremony. First Pyeongchang 2018, then Sydney 2000, now they are doing Turino 2006.
