Great Video! It will help with the install, as well as provide insight on future attachments! Make sure every new customer gets this.

Thanks! We went with a new concept with this video where we covered the basic installation, as well as the most common accessories, in the order that makes the installation less difficult. We hope this helps!

This video is so helpful! Super pleased with my Tormach 770m during my setup so far! Been really simple and straightforward! About to make my first test parts in a couple hours and then start making my production parts later this afternoon! Literally, 24 hours to make parts from dropping it on the stand, that's whats up! I cant wait until my enclosure arrives!

Great video, very informative. I have ordered my 770M all the way from Australia, cant wait for it to get here, looks so good. I have a suggestion, would it be possible to have the 3 Drivers that are installed from the factory be moved along one slot to the right? This would make it much easier for people to install the Driver for the 4th axis if they just drop it into DR1 slot eliminating the need to remove and refit the capacitor and also having more room to slot the extra driver in. The less work a customer does, the less chance they have to mess it up ; ) .

You have to have a engine hoist to assemble? How heavy is it? Because I’m thinking about buying one but I don’t have a engine hoist..
@tormachinc2 жыл бұрын
The 770M weighs 900 lbs.. Tormach recommends using an 1.5 ton engine hoist. If you don't want to purchase one, look for a good rental company in your area. The engine hoists with the parallel legs are easier to maneuver. Remember to also purchase a lifting bar, that will attach to the table and top of the mill. If you plan on only one mill, you can check your local Tormach user groups to see if you can borrow a lifting bar.

Does that power drawbar put all the pressure on the top bearing when it compresses the bellville washers? If yes, the bearings won't last long.
@tormachinc5 жыл бұрын
We kept bearing-life in mind while designing this accessory. The power drawbar system was designed to keep the load off of the spindle bearings.
@LMD-NC5 жыл бұрын
Please update your manual, the FRL for the power drawbar is not the same one in the manual (or in the documents for the FRL on the website) secondly it is labeled wrong as well, has a PN 38829 label on it when online it is labeled as PN 32445. Made searching for it impossible

@tormachinc6 жыл бұрын
The installation procedure for the 1100M is very similar to the 770M, but yes, an install video for the 1100M will be available in the future.
