honestly, it wasn't that Lisa Marie did not love him. she did love him deeply, it's hard to overlook. they did indeed have their differences and while MJ was sometimes childish, sometimes headstrong, she wanted to be able to care for him and steer him away from danger in rumours and innuendo by the media. but at some point, she felt that it was taking a toll on her and she feared she would be influenced by MJ's drug use because she was recovering. if she stayed with him, they would not be truly happy for many years, especially if the child abuse scandals continued on.

The extremely difficult and bizarre dancing in Ghosts is a perfect example too. Even his micro facial expressions in Thriller just after turning into a zombie is not something that's easily repeated by others. How can Lisa say she didn't want to live at Neverland full time only part time because she wanted to be independent? If you want independence and only live with your husband part time you don't get married... @@Eleven11313 That doesn't even make sense, you do realise they had been dating since 1992, they said they had only been dating for 4 months before they got married but that was because she was cheating on her husband Danny Keough and for obvious reasons didn't want to reveal that, but she eventually left him for Michael so they could get married. After Lisa Marie and Michael divorced they still continued getting back together and breaking up for about 4 years after, and it was Michael that stopped seeing her in 1999 for good. She was so depressed about it she had a meltdown over it and became ill. She said in 2005 that she "pretty much had to be mopped off the floor when they broke up" That doesn't sound like a publicity stunt to me. Why would they get married in secret after dating for 2 years, keeping their relationship private if it was just a publicity stunt? In fact it only became a problem for her AFTER the press found out and harrased them, mocking their relationship continually and so forth, she was suddenly thrust into the spotlight and where as Michael was used to it, she wasn't. They lived together in Trump Tower for several months while MJ was working on the History album and also stayed at Trump's Mar a lago for romantic breaks and Trump said they would stay up in their apartment there for the whole weekend before he would even catch a glimpse of them, sounds like they were pretty cosy to me. The real reason for the divorce is because she couldn't handle suddenly being thrown into the limelight in such a big way. She said Michael was too immature to have kids but look how he raised his own, he raised his children really well and when he was with Lisa Marie was a great step dad to her kids. you only have to see the footage of them as a family on holiday together in 1997 to see how much her kids loved him. She deceived Michael when they got married, he was wondering why it was taking her so long to get pregnant untl he found her contraceptive pills. He spoke about how that broke his heart. She just couldn't handle the lifestyle Michael had to live with paps following them all the time, all the media press about them the whole time and also the fact Michael had to travel a lot for work. She knew all this but once the reality of it all played out in front of the media SHE was the one that was immature about it and the way she went about things were all wrong. You don't mislead your husband into thinking you're both trying for kids only to take the pill behind his back, that's so messed up. She weren't mature enough to tell Michael that she wanted to wait and couldn't handle the press invasion into her life, questioning their every move all the time. That's when when the relationship started to break down and they would argue all the time and due to the hurt Michael felt when he found the pills he said if she won't give him kids someone else will, hence Debbie Rowe. Lisa Marie and Michael carried on seeing each other after getting divorced but after Michael called it a day with her in 1999 that's when she begged him to come back and said she would give him as many children as he wanted but by that point it was over for good and that's when she had her meltdown and it took her several years to get over him. She resented him for it and that's when she did all the interviews about him right up until about 2003 with all the bitterness and resentment towards him. in 2004 she finally started to move on properly. 'Publicity stunt' my arse lol.

Sony was after Michael's ownership to the Beatles catalog. He was tired, overwhelmed and most likely felt alone most days. Michael drowned his anxiety, worries and problems in drugs to help calm and numb him. It was his "escape" when he used sedatives in order to sleep and drugs to drown out the chaos. Having Lisa Marie reject him by saying she felt indifferent most likely sent Michael over the edge. I have a feeling her rejection was the cherry on top to Michael dieing. He needed her love and she was mentally exhausted from his own life circumstances. It wasn't fair to her because Michael's problems were affecting her ability to focus on her life and her mental health suffered during the last few year's of Michael's life. He needed her love in a very unfair way. The music industry was after Michael and he wanted Lisa Marie to absorb that massive pressure and traumatic drama, so he didn't feel so alone. I wish Michael would've listened to Lisa Marie year's ago when she gave him the altermatum of her or the fame vultures. Michael chose fame. He paid a heavy price and lost several good women along the way. He also left behind his children to be fatherless. Fame isn't worth the heartache and loss.

Despite numerous comments, what RESPONSIBLE mother divorces the father of her two children and marries another man ( famous with money or not) only twenty days later? This union was sadly doomed from the beginning because it wasn’t thought out properly and simply rushed when there was no need. The media were hanging out for another story to pounce on, after his first accusation. Lisa Marie was anxious for Michael to wise up to the media, so as to protect himself. Don't you appreciate how she had given herself, in love, to help protect him after the first evil accusations. She was scared of that happening again. Michael was very strong willed, and stubborn, it seems, which is really sad, because he desperately needed a protective relationship. BUT that can only work with wisdom and compromise - from both sides. It was so very sad that it didn't work out. It doesn't need us bitching about it now. The drugs that are used to treat severe burns can cause vitiligo as a side effect. Michael was severely burnt during the Pepsi commercial, far worse that has been publicly stated. He had full thickness burns to his scalp, and any scalp injury causes excruciating pain as well. So Michael was dealing with the shock of that, plus the long term pain associated with it, plus vitiligo. Anybody who cared could have found that information out for themselves.

Too many questions, no answers; Michael is gone 😭 He needed help, but her family said he was in denial; meaning he didn't think or realise he needed help. And he's crafted at pushing people away and locking everybody out, Whitney Houston said same about him. All pointing to psychological problems. Lack of self confidence and poor self image all contributed to the problems. My puzzle is, WHY DIDN'T MICHAEL WORK ON IT? Or did he? He's an achiever, he could have. On the other hand he was a gentle sweet soul. I call him ArchAngel Michael. The music messiah. His music/performance is so universal and timeless. Michael's spirit was so evolved for most people in his generation to accept or comprehend. This generation would have understood, loved and handled him better. He's so unique and classy, he has royalty flowing in his veins. King Michael! A pure enlightened being. An enchanting soul, so intelligent and beautiful. I wonder if Michael was a being who visited our time line... and they did him dirty. He was dealt cruel blows for being good and soft and empathic! A commenter said he was on god-mode while on earth.
