Torn City Episode 10: Racing, Company Update and DP Giveaway

A lot of custom races you may see are 100 lap races. Be careful with those as sometimes at lower race levels they can take 6 hours to complete. Once the race actually starts you can not quit it. Many times this may be a race that someone joins before they go to bed. At least once I started a custom parkland race when I went to bed. When I woke up I had completed it in 4 hours but the person I was racing against was only 67% through. I felt so bad I gifted the guy a car.

Yeah I dived straight into racing, bought a car I liked regardless of performance, then added bits and got to a point where moving from d to c where I had to reset back to a c car, no mods and always came last as no points to add parts to it. Like a stalemale. Went through a month and a half or slowly very slowly getting 3rd to get points to increase. Needs planning racing does. I like the idea of custom racing for class E only, no mods. That's quite exciting, as in, it's luck (drivers skill shall we call it) rather than what mods you have.

Custom races do not give any racing points - - however they do still give you experience!
