Torn Sail Repair and a Surprise

A sail repair and frame inspection of a 2007 Sport 2 155 hang glider. Several other things not highlighted needed replacing too, such as sidewires, some hardware, and ropes.

Good to know the right people to do a proper sail repair. I know a guy that works making custom sails for racing boats. His company won't touch glider sails though. They don't want the liability...

I'll take the liability! Haha. I test fly after repairs, so that question gets sorted pretty quick.

Did you hand stitch the repair?

I didn't do it myself. They used a machine. I can send you their contact info if you need it done.

@@bustedkeel Yes, thank you, it's really diffcult to get access with a machine there and I wondered how it was done and with what kind of machine.
