Torna Fort Trek | तोरणा किल्ला

Torna Fort is on the most highest mountain in Pune district. It is nearly 60 kilometres from centre of Pune city. You can reach there directly by bus too from swargate bus station. And from Velhe village you can get seater vehicles. The route goes from Pabe village which goes via Pabe Ghat which goes through mountains .
The trek is moderate one can easily climb and reach to top in 2 to 3 hours . In monsoon you need to be take care of some slippery rocks. Also you can get drinking water through waterfalls flowing there. Must come to the base before evening at 6 to 7 PM . Because there is no one after that time . And on week days there is no one for selling food products so one should carry food and other stuff with yourself. If anyone want to stay on fort don't pitch tents on top of fort there is too much air, try to do it at base, near parking or near the main building of fort at top of fort.
