Here are some tips, you can change the radar station from KHZL to THIB so when storms are further down south near Hibbing then you can see them more easily. The read polygons are tornado warnings and usually tornadoes are somewhere in that area. If you can see the bottom of the storm you can see this kind of hooked shape to it that where rotation is and it’s usually where tornadoes form. If you watch the tornado, and it’s side are growing left or right you are not in the path. If the tornadoes sides are not moving then it’s coming towards you. I hoped this helps and if you need anything else just comment! Edit: when you look at radar and you see the red polygon you want to be in line with the middle, if you look the bigger side of the polygon is where the tornado is heading. So when you are in the front you want to be in the center lined up with the tornadoes path.
