Paige had a Doctor Appointment in Memphis and the best way to get there is to go through Covington, TN. This was 3 days after the March 2023 Tornado Outbreak that rolled through several states.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the storms that night.

I live in covington and go to the middle school that was destroyed. I am very blessed to be alive right now and I must give credit to the board for getting us out of school early. It is truly heartbreaking. 💔

Things have been good so far. They got up most of the powerlines and they are starting to pick up trees that fell.

Last report I heard was that there were 53 poles that had to be completely replaced. Southwest Tn electric and Covington electric were both hit hard by this storm. They did great work in getting power back on to all those affected. Several other out of towns crews assisted in the rebuild.
