Tornado in Jackson, New Jersey on 6/22/2011

Hello KZbinrs, first things first, a big thank you to Patrick for allowing me to post this awesome video on my channel!!! I love weather related videos and for such a amazing and not so common phenomenon to happen not too far from where I live is exciting. While living about 14 or so miles from where this tornado was, my parents on the other hand were about a mile from the area in which it was. What a wicked weather pattern we have been in lately- and summer has just started, going to be a interesting one!

Cool, i have been through a few tornados as a kid. But i was too little to remember two of them. I know one of them we bought a house and the next day our neighbors fence got taken out by a tornado but only a tree was damaged in our yard. Then one time my mom was at a sams club and they wouldnt let them leave and everyone had to pile into the big freezers. The store had to shut them off and ruin the products to keep the people safe.

i was in new egypt when this went through, went right over grants farm before crossing coillers mills and the town line into jackson

Then the only one i remember was we were at a fairly new to us house. There was a tornado and I was able to walk and all but I couldnt descend the latter going into the celler. My mom had to drop me down there in the dark and then come in after me. Then we sat in a kiddie pool that was down there from previous owners. We didnt know what else was down there.
