Trains at: Rugeley Trent Valley, WCML, 08/08/16

A very long, cold, windy yet very enjoyable visit to Rugeley Trent Valley on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Virgin Trains, London Midland and various freight from Freightliner, DB Cargo UK and Network Rail.
I spent longer here than I originally wanted due to animals on the line somewhere south from Lichfield Trent Valley so I ended up spending 2 hours here, during that time I caught some spectacular footage from 2 class 70's giving it the beans and sounding absolutely gorgeous as they always do. We also capture a pair of DB Cargo UK class 90's giving a brilliant crossover with a 70 towards the end of the film.
My next station is Lichfield Trent Valley where I have a very nice surprise in store for you all so keep an eye out for that. Thank you all very much for watching it is greatly appreciated.

Love the Freight Trains! :-) Were there sheep or cows on the line causing the delays? Do any Virgin Pendolinos or Voyagers stop at Rugeley Trent Valley? Can't wait for the surprise at Lichfield Trent Valley. :)

Virgin Trains Pendolinos and Voyagers don't stop at Rugeley Trent Valley, but they do stop at Tamworth and Lichfield Trent Valley

the freight definitely made the film better, as to the animals I was never able to find out. All the info was saying was that there were animals on the line

+Asads Train Videos only like two a day stop a Tamworth. the 1800 to Glasgow leaves Euston at 1657, and the 1757 to lancaster stops Tamworth 1900. Lichfield Trent Valley is 8 minutes later

Good video. I really like your videos. Do you use a day ranger sometimes when you go to the station's. Like for Rugeley trent valley it would be the west midlands day ranger. If you don't know what or where to find them you can find them on the national rail enquiries website.
