Thank-you, just wonderful as always. Have done Tyne Valley to Newcastle, Barrow-in-Furness and Settle to Carlisle, this a very special station for me.

Another interesting film from one of my favourite stations The filmmakers can only work with what comes through but make it still s very enjoyable watch. I love all the incidental comments that are made from ' screeching brakes of units to comments on livery. From the film's I have seen so far the Tornado s crew approach is by far the best

Well I do try and keep things as honest and as light hearted as possible as I wish to try and retain audience attention for as long as possible. This is definitely one of my favourite stations on the northern section of the WCML

Brilliant again. Love watching videos of Carlisle as you get all manner of trains coming through. Moving away from that, the Flying Scotsman will not be coming through Warrington Bank Quay on Saturday as engineering works are taking place so I'm going down to Crewe to see her on the return from Carnforth. She should be be coming in at around 3pm.
@Tornado9225 жыл бұрын
From the looks of things Crewe was the best place to go to catch the vast amount of railtours coming through to go to various areas of the country

@@Tornado922 l found out that the Northern Belle was hauled by heritage diesels top n tail from Crewe to Preston where the Flying Scotsman was waiting to take over for the next leg to Carnforth and back to Preston where I caught up with it yesterday. A magnificent sight to see and get up close and personal with after it detached and the other diesel loco re-attached for the last leg back to Crewe. Got some good pictures too of this icon of steam. A very memorable day indeed.

You lucky devil!! You have spotted my favourite 158 at Carlisle, 158816. With Perkins engines, she was hellfire on Hull to Scarborough diagrams. Climbing out of Bridlington, she gave the almighty beans. Epic action from Carlisle :-)
@zarak0025 жыл бұрын
158816 used to be my stalker as i would always end up catching it. However, that might evaporate seeing 170s on the line now.
@RickyNowis5 жыл бұрын
@@zarak002 True it is. There are still 158's on Scarborough to Hull diagrams with a daily working by class 170. With most 170's on Bridlington to Sheffield (fast) Some are still on The Harrogate Loop but due to reliability issues, they're coming off that line. I miss 158816, looks like North East/West to see it now.

The turquoise roofed 158 was caused by a bad paint mixture which Northern Rail (Serco-Abellio) decided to use anyway. I believe there are also a few turquoise roofed Pacers.
