The kids are so big! 11th Generation Dairyman is ready, willing and eager to start work already. Picking up that shovel on his own and getting to it! They're absolutely adorable, Eric.

Loved seeing your kids out helping Daddy and Papa. I remember when my daughter was that age and had to wear her princess dresses everywhere too. So cute. She's 21 now and still has those princess dresses in the back of her closet, maybe for daughters she might have one day. Enjoy them while they're little. So much fun.

I'm spoiled. I used to run a 13' Lilliston drill, and knew where I had to go to keep spacing right. I got a job with a 1590 and marker arms. They are GREAT, except behind shelled corn. Takes some imagination to follow the marks. Maintaining a parlor is a steady thing, but you know what you have to watch. Great video!

heres a suggestion with the tree. to help hold moisture neat the roots put mulch around it (also helps with weeds). just dont put alot up against the trunk as the bark will get moist and decay leaving it more vulentile

definitely get a DJI drone, its the gold standard for drones for a reason. Probably Mini 3 or Mini 3 Pro for you. Mini 3 is 500-700 bucks depending on wether you wanna get a second battery and stuff and you can easily get insane footage even without knowing much about photography

@10thGenerationDairyman get some gypsum and spread it in that yard. Soil seemed pretty hard, which is probably why grass is struggling. The gypsum will breakdown the clay and help that tree out too.

Why do you quit alfalfa? We use rye as spring crop, but we struggle to get a decent protein on that. It is bulky and really highly digestable though.
@10thgenerationdairyman Жыл бұрын
Protein is a little lower but cows seem to do better on it because of the digestibility and consistency all year vs 5 different cuttings of alfalfa.
