I always run the engine to warm up the oil so it flows out easy
@gregbenitez5 жыл бұрын
I do to as well but I didn't wanted to make the video to long. 😉👍🌱🎬

Yes a warmer engine the oil will flow smoothly but careful the oil filter may be hot.

It’s also good to do that because any sediments get mixed up, it’s like drinking orange juice with pulp. If you don’t run it/shake it, you won’t get the pulp (sediments in oil)

Greg you have the opposite set up of me. I have the Toro commercial 21” and the Exmark commercial 30”

Hahah that's what's up... I wanted the eXmark but it's like a 4 plus hour drive to the dealership. 😁 But the Toro Turfmaster is cutting really really good for me 👍👍👍🌱🌱

I bought this exact mower from my brother. He hadn’t started it in 2 years. I am having trouble trying to get it started. Any ideas on how to get it started again? Great video btw. Just changed the oil following this. Thank you

Hey buddy how's it going hope all is well and thank you so much for checking out the video. I hope my way of doing the oil change was very easy for you to do. I tried to make it as simple as possible to help others. I talked to a really awesome friend of mine and his recommendations are the following below. And anything else please don't hesitate to ask I will contact Rick so we can try to help you out. The following recommendations is from my friend Rick the mechanic 1. Take air cleaner off Spray carb cleaner OR fuel in throat ( not yours 😜 ) 2. See if engine starts That ELIMINATES the ignition system as a problem. 3. Pull throat bowl off carb ( you will probably see varnish in carb ) 4. Rebuild carb OR replace. 5. I RECOMMEND star tron fuel additive.

Hey Greg, do you recommend the new Turfmaster HDX? I have seen the gripes of this mower being underpowered but you have run it since 2016. Thoughts? Have you had any issues with your mower?
@gregbenitez5 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy how's it going hope all is well. I talk to my buddy at the Toro dealer the only difference on the HDX is a heavier unit and although it does have a bigger transmission because it has a parking brake. So I don't think it's worth the extra couple $100's for a parking brake and more weight but it's totally up to you in what you need to mow. Where I live all the yards are flat so I don't need the extra transmission strength to go up hills... I hope this helps if you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask I'll be glad to find you the answer stay blessed my brother.👍🌱😁

Hey good video. I can’t find anything online so I thought maybe you worked know. Have you tried to scalp with the turf master 30? I’m trying to get down to lowest setting after a couple passes at higher setting but it requires me to push hard even so much I can’t use it. I’m trying to figure out if anything is wrong or it’s just not a good scalping machine. Thanks!!

Hey buddy how's it going thank you for checking out the video. This unit goes 2 inches the lowest that it could go which is pretty tight I'm not sure how low you will like the grass but depending on what type of grass 2 inches is the lowest.👍🌱

Can you do a oil change if the tank is full with gas ⛽️ or will it spill? Do you use 93 fuel at gas station?
@gregbenitez3 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy how's it going and thank you for checking out the video. Yes you can do the oil change on a full tank. The rubber hose has some kind of ball value that won't allow gas to come out.... but its not 100% so if you can cut grass first to get the fuel tank down then that will be better. but if you really have to change the oil then its all good. I used a large piece of cardboard to tip the mower over... thank you very much once again and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask 👍🌱👍🌱.
@gregbenitez3 жыл бұрын
I use regular fuel in it. The low grade, works fine 👍🌱
@Deon0026yickadee3 жыл бұрын
@@gregbenitez thanks I will do this. Tomorrow. My mower hit 10 hrs of labor. Today! Seller told me 8 hrs then oil change 😬 oops. And the tank is more than half full. So it’s a emergency. I’m going to do what you did. Although I don’t have a new air filter
@Deon0026yickadee3 жыл бұрын
@@gregbenitez thanks I put 93 in today. I rather use low. I was scared because ethnol free is no where in Delaware I swear
@gregbenitez3 жыл бұрын
@@Deon0026yickadee OK cool deal buddy... that's no problem at all. Just tip on the side that the oil cap is on like I did and you will be in good shape. And naaaa no need for an new air filter now. I finally just replaced mine after like 5 years.... just take it off and tap out the filter and the foam part and then out it back together 🌱👍

Now what do you do with the old oil?
@gregbenitez5 жыл бұрын
Hey buddy how's it going, I have this container that I purchased from Advance Auto Parts I fill it up and once it's full I take it there, they have a very large recycle tank in the back. Advance Auto Parts has a recycle oil program that they do. 👍😁🌱

Im surprised that would get it all out of the bottom of the crankcase. Great engine but poor job of making it easy to change the oil
