I flew through YYZ over last summer but used Terminal 1. Flew in on Air Canada. As someone who is used to DFW Airport and waiting in like for anywhere between 15 minutes-3 hours, when I arrived at YYZ, it was such a breeze. I wish more US Airports had that.

You are correct that Pearson airport is located in Mississauga (it once was Malton); however it isn't in Rexdale or Etobicoke which are part of the city of Toronto. However some of the nearby hotels are there, on the other side of the Mississauga-Toronto border (I grew up in Etobicoke, near the airport). Rexdale is a neighbourhood in Etobicoke. Apparently they've had have egates in Terminal 1 since 2022. Like you, I think most Canadians use the terms baggage or luggage interchangeably.

Last time I went through customs in Toronto they yelled at me to get off my phone when I was waiting in line then got yelled at again for touching the counter .

one time i have a connecting flight at toronto and what i experienced is really horrible. disorganized and passengers are not following orders.

P.S. 3:34 - why does it say "family" ? are PIK kiosks at this position not intended for people arriving solo?

I think you can have up to 5 family members on an eGate slip. I think if a person is under 16 or without passport they have to be on the parent's eGate slip. Thank you for watching!

Im happy Canada eliminated visa requirements for our people who want to make tourist trips over there...things are much easier this way ;)

Sorry I have to comment You keep referring to the Primary Inspection Kiosks as “eGates” This is not correct eGates are for Nexus passengers only and are only available in terminal 1 as of right now
