In the old days, police were seen as pillars of their comminity. Now its hard to tell if they have any rsspect for anyone. Watch youtube long enough and you start to see a nasty pattern emerging for all to see. Its time those cams were used to supervise live and situations like this would be avoided.

Our cops provide a complex and robust service (with profound demands for the public 24/7. In Canada's largest and most dangerous city Toronto, many cops are retiring out at 25 years of service (they may not have in the past, many cops used to remain in service as detectives, trainers, HR advisors for many more years.) That level of commitment is almost unsustainable today. In some part because of the snakes bite their ankles when they grab a coffee parking illegally. Grow up Jay (the ex-cop who did this...)

As Canadian’s file your grievances via a complaint at all levels, including the mayors office. The only way to get changes is in numbers. This dude from the Toronto police association who is shaming a citizen that recognizes wrong and calls it out shouldn’t be in his position. We don’t need law enforcement that protects unprofessional behaviour. We also need to get rid of qualified immunity for officers that act aggressive and violate peoples charter rights. What I saw in the video was a man representing so many hard-working tax-paying Canadian's frustrations towards Canada's police agencies because they don't adhere to the same laws that they are supposed to enforce. That cop says they work 11-hour shifts? Do they not know that other people work that same amount or more?! This video shows us that cops have their sense of importance set above the rest of the civilian population and that they most likely look down on us. And they wonder why civilians don't respect cops and even distrust them!
