Ambulance has one of the best warning light arrays and patterns I've seen. Most patterns are unphased and the flashes obscure important information about vehicle location (in depth, and laterally when against a visually noisy scene) and movement. No confusion, no ambiguity, but great 'bi-lateral symmetry' to the phasing. This gives an observer the ques needed to understand distance and movement. All operators take note!

This is one of the first videos I've seen from Toronto where the police are actually escorting properly. The rest of them the escorts got in the way or the escorting was the other way round. Hope the little one had a good and speedy recovery.

I love the old school red and blue rotators. Personally I don’t like the LED lights, maybe because I’m just old fashioned though.

I agree to an extent, as long as the light has comparable punch. I have run LED’s that turn absolutely everything blue, some LED’s that are just drowned out by ambient light. Our oldest truck has a Code 3 Excalibur that packs a punch, but the set on our Captain’s truck doesn’t. If you’re getting the same results, I will go with rotators.

To me if I'm rolling code 3 I don't care what the lights are as long as they freaking work and the people get the hell out of the way of the ambulance.
