Toronto Film School’s acting students recently took to the stage at the Papermill Theatre in Toronto to perform Home-Sick. The play is an adaptation of several sources, including Homer’s The Odyssey and Ovid’s Metamorphoses. In this video, you’ll hear from students who were performing on stage for the first time, and what it meant to them.
The play was directed and choreographed by Rosanna Saracino, and produced by Hart Massey, program director of Toronto Film School’s Acting for Film, TV and the Theatre program. The play starred Brice Ndem, Lauren Bagot, Valeria Fernandez Negron, Aisling Wolleswinkel, Mukhtar Abdullah, Silvyn L. Farrell, Nicholas Smoljanovic, Ayla Johnston, Denzi Palmer, Cayle Cronquist, Melissa Putaro, Randy Osorio, Simon Roberts, Unaz Brown, and Jade Bertin. Lisa Zhu was stage manager with Lauren Bagot assisting. Natalia Sielski was the production’s graphic designer, and Chad Snider-Tailor the videographer.
