Toronto Film School’s acting students recently performed in front of a live audience at the Papermill Theatre. The play, Road, was written by Jim Cartwright. In this video, you’ll hear how the students prepared for performing on stage, and how the experience differs from acting in front of the camera.
The play was directed by Patricia Tedford, and produced by Hart Massey, program director of Toronto Film School’s Acting for Film, TV and the Theatre program. The play starred Adélaïde Schoofs, Alya Daneault, Buot Kuet, Jil Kindlimann, Kieran Stephenson, Madelyne Walelo, Maral Bannayan, James Ferreira, Joshua Bishop, Liam Stricker-Burrowes, Melissa Parsons, Mikayla King, Refka Al-Kuni, and Vivien Hawryszko. The crew included Meg Morand (stage manager), Kenneth Salah (lighting designer), Chad Snider-Tailor (videographer), and Sydney Skelding (graphic designer).
