Joan here. I was sorry to see you moved off of Wellesley - that would have been perfect to access the north parts of the Cabbagetown area. Some lovely old homes (and cottages) in there. I no longer live in Toronto but the two streams I've seen you do have been wonderful nostalgic trips. Old stomping grounds. Thank you so much! FYI at aprox. 1:11:50 across the street on the east side of Broadview is one of the best indie coffee shops in the city (the original Roosters). It looks to still be there. Yay! And while they might not have had an 'adult beverage' for your enjoyment, they would have both great coffees and some colder drinks available. Used to love sitting out in the patio area (and sometimes on the grass of the hill) to soak in that view ands sip my mocha! Will say that it's a much more crowded skyline since the few short years I moved from Toronto.

Ottaways used to be on the north side of the Danforth, just west on Hampton and we'd buy licorice twigs and sneak them into the Century Theater (now the Music Hall) because we couldn't afford to popcorn at the snack bar. Thsnks for the great memories!
