The Toronto Police Pipe Band playing in the Grade 1 medley event at the 2017 North American Championships, Glengarry Highland Games, Maxville, Ontario, August 5, 2017. The band was the only entrant in the grade and was acclaimed North American Champions.

Bill Livingstone's farewell to the Glengarry Highland Games as a pipe-band competitor, in which he led or participated in a grade-one band for 40 some years. This makes me sad. Thank you, Bill! You're a true legend.

nice but sad that for the 70th games, more Canadian / American grade 1 bands couldn't show up due to next week's worlds
