Another great episode! The New Year’s resolutions you suggest will make a big difference if implemented. I agree that we have to keep our spirits up during these tough times. Keep up the good work.

I 100% agree with Kelly and Chris need to go. Keep the trade ideas coming I like what you’re saying way more than all the US media ideas where Raptors take your garbage and we give up picks or Bruce deals. I wish we could get Nic Claxton to help carry the defensive load but probably not the best time to buy a player with rebuilding but one can dream.

Nic is young enough that he could be considered as part of the core of the team, so it's not a horrible suggestion. My evaluation of him has taken a step back from where it was a few seasons ago however. I thought he had potential to be a Jarrett Allen type player, but I think that's a bit of a pipe dream now. Thanks for the comment!

I think he has regressed because of the team he’s on might be a buy low situation anything to help when Jacob is off or out.

The problem with Kelly is that He. Is. Not. A. Center. Not in the least. At most he's a backup traditional PF, before PFs were required to defend on the perimeter. It's barely acceptable when he's paired with Mogbo out there off the bench against the other team's bench, but him starting the Memphis game against Edey and JJJ was a joke. So please trade him, Masai. Even for a conditional 2nd round pick. I can't believe that cutting TOs was not on the resolution list. It's been a problem for years, especially with Scottie trying to be Magic Johnson out there. Darko wants his 30 assists per game, and it makes the team do stupid things. Also Gradey has to get stronger. In particular, whatever wrist exercise Fred does to steal the ball from opponents, Gradey has to try to just hang onto the damn thing. And in the meantime, bench him. It's time for the team to start developing a defensive identity. Finally, congrats on the great content idea! I'm sure it will be ripped off by other Raptors youtubers over the next 48 hours, so bask in the glory of your unique individuality for now.

I don’t mind the overall sentiment of the Raptors offensive scheme. I think that your players need to be well drilled and on the same page in order to minimize turnovers though. Right now the Raptors are just playing dumb basketball and they’re definitely not used to playing with one another. With a more polished, veteran roster, you’d see better results and execution. I’m totally with you on Olynyk, although a lot of bench bigs are power forwards who play the pivot role. His defense has declined to the point where it’s actively detrimental to winning, so I’d like to see him dealt soon. As for the 100% original idea I had about New Year’s resolutions, I’m going to get my lawyer on the phone to make sure nobody even thinks of taking it. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, making enemies is essential to success in one’s field!

Darko's strategy of agressive passing and crashing the offensive boards result in live ball turnovers and easy transition buckets for opponents. The defensive priorities of guarding the paint and the corner 3 don't help your transition defence much. The NBA seems to be exposing the weaknesses of Darko's schemes. and the Raptor's players may be demoralised iin the process. I guess the good news is we should be able to get a nice pick in the draft. I wonder if the Darko hire was all part of a diabolical Bobby Webster plan .... its not tanking if you just play bad! Teams with lesser talent seem to be generating better results with less radical schemes. Thanks for the video.

Yeah, I think the passing is a big part of his system, but I agree the offensive rebounding could be scaled back a bit, especially if the team is going to be so woefully out of position so often. The number of transition opportunities the team has given up lately (especially on made baskets) is concerning and there needs to be more emphasis on getting back.

Making Barnes a point guard and letting him shoot 3's is not good. He's strength is inside the paint. Like what you've said "8 turnovers". COACH Darko should be the one to know/ see that.

Scottie, to his credit, only took 1 three last night, and has replaced them for the most part with pull up midrange shots. I have been pleased with his growth as a player in the grander scheme of things, but this year has been frustrating. I think he's still injured, which has hurt his explosiveness. As for him being a PG or not, I'm not too concerned with what terms apply to him. I think as a playmaker he's very good for his size, and as he gets better things will start to gel for him. Thanks for the comment!

Point guards turn the ball over a lot. Scottie is learning. He shouldn't be held down

Starting to think that scottie is over rated. He hasnt shown any proof that he can be a #1 guy on a good team. Maybe as a very good secondary guy. It makes me sad.

I dont like recent performance but kinda undertand why. They are pro athletes but still a human, even mostly young guys. We know its time to tank and extend losing streaks and they also know it. What can motivate them to put some energy and effort? Thats why i dont like tanking. Wish they dont learn bad habits and losing mentality.

I also believe the raptors will not trade bruce just for couple pics....i think they will trade him for a much better player with high potential...but yes i believe kelly an chriss along with Mitchell should be traded..Bruce should be one to give us a starter...

Raptors game is more faster when Barnes is not the point guard. Even Giannis won't be that productive if he's coach will tell him to shoot 3sss instead of going inside the paint.
