Looking forward to seeing everyone back in there positions. Except for the last week it’s been fun to watch despite the record. I think we’re better than the win/loss record: time to prove it.

It's amazing what a team can look like with a starting NBA calibre point guard and centre on the court! Yes wings are hugely important but lately it's felt like a huge portion of the fanbase forgot that lesson from the vision 6'9 era.

Loving your level headed takes as always. Scottie imo was not even PG out of neccessity, just for development

Eh in previous years I'd agree. This year I think it was as simple as without IQ, they didn't really have any better creation options.

I think the best way to see it Scottie is the PG, but IQ is the better ball handler right now. they work well together. A lot of Scottie's PG reps come with young (experience) players, and his ankle and eye injuries didn't help his shooting. So, it looked bad. Him taking the threes to have defenses commit to him later on, because they only know him as a willing passer. I think he's a comfortable 3 point shooter already, again playing through the injuries make it look worse. With some spacers, it'll unlock everything else. Nick Nurse should have given Scottie more on-ball reps in his 1st and 2nd years.

Scottie is not a point guard, and the sooner everyone accepts this the better.

@@LockedOnRaptors He's a Chameleon to those who don't see it. Wait for the teams spacing to improve, and his 3s to start falling (which again is affected by his eye and ankle injuries). Then you'll see what I mean.

@@LockedOnRaptorsthank you. The sooner people drop this dream, the better for the team.

@@SP.007absolutely not. People think passing is what makes someone a pg. even with shooters it won’t matter because they literally pick him up full court hence ALL the turnovers. Pg’s need 1) tight crafty handle. Scottie has a loose high dribble 2) be able to break down/split defences off the dribble- Scottie can not 3) draw in the double and know how to either dribble out of the double or pass out- Scottie can not 4) protect the ball. Iq had 14 assists and 1 turnover while in 4 games Scottie had almost as many turnovers as assists. Scottie is an amazing point forward. A secondary passer. He benefited off iq passing him the ball and forcing him to score.

@@GoodGame391 I just don't you see what only a few others see. Scottie's still working on his handle, I'll give you that. again without "normal spacing" (which also helps when he brings the ball up the floor) , against tougher defence. And he can mix in the power game when bringing it up the floor. Scottie creates tons of shot opportunities for it just happened to be for non-shooter (it's what we had to with for long stretches) which is good because it makes it tougher for him now, which will easier for him later. Quickley is a better handler for sure, but Scottie made the decision making for him easier last night, that's why they work well together.
