I’m pretty certain that super fast moving walkway (12:11) behind the barricade has been closed since before the pandemic. I’ve been to Toronto a fair few times since restrictions were lifted and I’ve not seen that walkway in use. 😅 Hope the gentleman that was taken off at Vancouver makes a speedy recovery.

I flew to Toyko on All Nippon Airlines; it was a flawless experience. Also, the Japanese flight attendants were not jaded like their Canadian or Amercian counterparts from Air Canada or United. Pearson Toronto is a beautiful airport with its high ceilings when compared to LAX in Los Angeles with its mini terminals.

Great trip report! I am heading to Tokyo next week from here in Vancouver and was booked on AC, but I chose to get a refund due to the likelihood of a strike. So instead I am flying ANA there (which I am excited about), but United via San Francisco on the return (which I am not as excited about haha). Hope your return travel plans don't get messed up with the strike!

I really respect your not filming the person who was ill. I am guessing, the Captain probably had to burn off some fuel before landing in Vancouver as it’s not good to land with almost full fuel. I did see on Flight Radar that your plane had gone into YVR that evening but it gave no reason. Other than your diversion, the flight looks not bad. Oh my, they should have had an alternative snack other than Tuna sandwiches. Not good on their part. Glad you had a safe trip. Thank you. I’m trying to catch up on your videos, cold and wet Sunday here in YYZ 🛫🛬☕️🍁

Hi Johnny I flew Air Canada 787 dreamliner just on August 14 from Calgary to London, and my seat was exactly two rows behind your seat 36G. Your London videos really helped on my trip to London as it was my first time there. Thanks for your content on KZbin.

Ive been at pearson countless times its huge but easy to nav. As far as airports go HK is a trip. I was so tired and ended up falling asleep on the carpet through the AM as others also did. It was a weird experience and surreal. But there is nothing much right outside within easy walking distance.

Why do you fly Air Canada? Is it out of national pride or because of frequent flier miles/points? If it’s the latter, have you considered flying with AC’s alliance partners (I think they’re Star Alliance)?
@longduong52124 ай бұрын
Flying with ANA would require a stop in Vancouver or the USA, same with flying with United. AC provides direct flight. Shame neither ANA nor JAL fly to YYZ.

I flew for the first time back in June to NYC. I flew out of Terminal 3 and I was really disappointed with the restaurant selections and how bland the terminal itself was. There was no Timmies in the USA departures area. Terminal 1 looks so much nicer and has more restaurant selections than T3. I can't wait to fly again soon.

Maybe I'm ignorant here but I don't understand why anyone uses currency exchange booths it has to be cheaper for fees to go to your bank few days before your trip and exchange there.
@JohnnyStrides3 ай бұрын
You should see the rates banks in Toronto offer on overseas currency... calling it a rip-off would be an understatement.
@AdonMills49323 ай бұрын
@JohnnyStrides yea I shouldn't be surprised don't know why I thought the ever benevolent banks would not serve thier own best interests when exchanging money and the small exchange places are the devils what a weird place for my brain to go.

Air Canada is such an awful airline, shame ANA or JAL don't fly this route.
@cyyzlucas4 ай бұрын
@@Starstreak170 Air Canada is already dominating this particular sector of the market. Air Canada and ANA also has a codeshare agreement via Star Alliance. JAL has no demand here as it’s already being dominated by AC. JAL did have a codeshare with the now defunct Canadian Airlines via Oneworld however..
