Toronto Summer weather is the same as NYC (80s-90s on average), you definitely don't need a jacket in the Summer. I live in NYC but worked in Toronto for a few years.

It's always cold in Canada? You think temperatures suddenly drop when you travel cross the border? And Canada is larger than the US. The climate is going to vary drastically depending on where you are. Is it the weather in Florida the same as Maine?
