As you can see from the title, it was an exceptionally cold and windy day in Toronto on December 23rd, with temperatures hovering around -10 degrees Celsius. However, thanks to the strong winds at about 90 km/h, it felt more like -20 degrees out. Despite the freezing conditions, we braved the elements and headed out to capture the beauty of the snowstorm as it blanketed Toronto in a blanket of white.
In this video, you'll see the city in all its wintery glory, with snow-covered streets and frosty trees. We'll show you how the city transforms in the winter. You'll also see some of the challenges of a winter storm, such as icy roads and sub-zero temperatures. It feels like I'm not watching a Canadian city, but any Russian city in winter. Everything is so similar: trees, houses, playgrounds and, of course, snow... Only we have twice as much snow in Novosibirsk (Siberia).
