Gorillas should not be kept in zoos. Particularly in a colder country like Canada. I remember the condition of the elephants.

He was in extremely good care and was well over the age that gorillas typically get to in captivity

I disagree with zoo's. I understand they can help with extinction, but every effort should be made to recreate their environment. This would take enormous efforts.
