This kid never let anything phase him. I remember Bobby Portis tried to get in his face and he just kept shouting AND ONE through it.. He faced a lot in his personal life but channeled it into his commitment to the team.. We always recognize when a we get a rare one here in TO but we got a uniquely rare one with Skills. Legend. So happy he's happy.

Watched how pascal have to go through all those unjustified hates & slanders that almost broke his mental health (thanks to those so-called “fans”) 🙄 Now Scottie has an ample size of hates going on in & out of the Raptors fanbase. I would never be surprised if Scottie wants out of this team and wont extend his rookie contract. A lot of teams would chase him for the talent he has.

I don’t get why they treated Pascal like he was 36 years old about to retire. He’s in the prime of his career and he’s improved on his skills every season. Why we wouldn’t extend him is baffling to me. He’s already bought in to be second fiddle to Scottie and he developed into an ultra reliable Robin-type all-star who actually wanted to stay in Toronto.

Raps should have kept Pascal after trading OG. The Siakam trade return looks to be very meager as we wait to see what Bruce Brown will bring back in trade. The new era is going back to losing for 2-3 seasons (or more) and hoping that Barnes doesn't force his way out after he signs his rookie extension. This could turn into Detroit North in the blink of an eye as players chase 🍕🥳 and Lottery ping pong balls 🏓 over playoffs 🏆. Raps still have never had a player that spent their entire NBA career with the team.

With all the hullabaloos “fans” have created and now they’re trying to pit Scottie & RJ against each other, it’s not a surprise if Scottie would rather not extend his rookie contract. @@louissehighlights6783 I think SB will extend his rookie contract but if the losing continues and the accolades like NBA all star avoid him, he may not want to waste his career away in a losing situation. Jimmy Butler will be leaving Miami around that time of SB's rookie extension and SB is from Florida might be the logical replacement. SB just witnessed how the front office treated OG and Pascal first hand- it's business. I can see IQ not wanting to stay in a losing situation as well. He just came from NY and hearing Darko's recent words about this being a developmental situation for the next 2-3 seasons IQ could want out for a better situation before or after getting paid as a free agent.
