Rodger’s “Marsh Barton” saying sounds a bit familiar like the “Dilton Marsh” he says for trains heading towards Warminster, Southampton Central and Brighton. I’ve also been thinking Rodger’s voice would have been perfect for Gordon in the UK Narration of Thomas & Friends.

Torquay was covered by Anne in 2021 but when I returned in August 2022, Roger had taken over. I haven't heard the announcement about doors being locked 40 secs before departure in a while. I'm also assuming someone has installed tactile paving since my last visit in 2022.

I had heard the system went faulty and when it was fixed, Rodger was installed. No idea why, but GWR seem to like Rodger in areas where noise might cause issues to neighbours, presumably because his voice is softer than Anne’s

They do under the canopies but there are also two Penton horns which these recordings were made under
