Torque Converter Shudder view #1 '05 XC90 V8

Video footage from driver side axle. You can see the transmission shuddering from the slipping torque converter. The shudder was noticeable at low speed at 1500-1800 rpm. I originally thought it was a bad CV axle.

Do you have the car on a lift or jack stands here? Also you have a typo that may hinder folks finding this video. It’s not “shutter” like a camera shutter, it’s “shudder” which is a shaking. Thanks for posting this video.

The camera was attached with a magnet, and I drove the vehicle around the block.

Yeah, I got rid of the vehicle. Cost too much to replace. Need to drop the engine in order to remove the trans. The engines seals also began to leak over time. So best solution was to get rid of it.
