I worked in the background with Mohammed Ayesh (IG @kassetter_tc) to have Torque Solution produce a new batch of front motor mounts for the 2011-2016 tCs. They've updated the design a little and include a 75A hardness bushing. This is a limited rerelease run, so order yours soon before they sell out.

The bottom mounting holes didn't really line up perfectly on mine so the one closest to the radiator has a bolt that isn't completely flush with the actual chassis but either way test drove it and it really does help even with just overall drivability.

My mount just showed up, tried to install it and the bolt that goes through the poly is super rusted for some stupid reason. Couldn't even get it off with a humongous corded impact. Guess I'll spray it multiple times over a couple days with PB Blaster...

Give it a few days with the PB Blaster and try using a breaker bar to get it loose. Oftentimes, I'll use the handle from my floor jack as extended leverage for my breaker bar.

@@VampyreX13 Yeah I shot it with blaster really good, gonna do it a couple more times tomorrow and then probably work on it Friday. Tried my normal ratchet, a breaker bar that wouldn't fit, a small impact and a humongous corded impact. Nothing got it off so I gave up for tonight. Might hit harbor freight and get a few more sizes of breaker bars soon.

You'll have to speak with Torque Solution yourself. They wanted a minimum of 40 pre-purchase orders, but they already had the design from the original production run. The person he talked to at Torque Solution was Dan.

So why is this one (out of four) motor mount so important and what do you gain from this particular one?

Unlike the other three that support the weight of the engine and transmission, this one helps keep the engine from tilting too much, which reduces wheel hop. Watch the first video I have linked in the video description towards the end. It's old, but it goes over the benefits I had from installing one of these mounts.

How much engine vibration (if any] would be transfered to the cabin?

You'll get some engine vibrations to the cabin, but it really depends on you if it's acceptable or not. The nice thing about these mounts is if it's too much vibration, you can get different hardness inserts from any of the companies that make bushings or even 3D print your own.
