This is another very interesting informative explanation. I'll press and HOLD DOWN traction control button in my Amarok when I eventually take it on a soft sandy beach. With any luck, the engine won't cut power and keep on getting bogged as did a few years ago,when on my first time driving on a beach (in a great wall motor 2.0 l auto). That was a nightmare that lasted a couple of hours..but the v6 Amarok should be a different experience, I'm hoping. Cheers!

Hi, can you suggest any perfomance upgradations for Fiat 1.3 jtd engine 90hp other than ECU remapping.

I have an article on the website which covers this engine, www.torquecars.com/fiat/multijet-tuning.php Any mods after remaps will cost quite a bit for not much of a return. The Turbo Upgrades are the next biggest upgrade. Cams may make more power at the top end but they won't help your daily drive-ability on the 1.3. Have you done the usual handling mods and ugprades?
