Thank you for posting such a nicely laid out diagram . People taking the manual driving test at Torrance dmv , Be careful sometimes there are no speed limit signs like on Cabrillo , Some Workers at the Torrance DMV can fail you even if you didn’t make a mistake for a “ critical error” like saying “ you hit a curb “ when you actually didn’t! There is no way to prove this since you can not use a camera to film it nor a GoPro .

Also, the residential roads may be narrow. Last November, I gave this DMV a try, hoping I'll do better than how I did on my second attempt at Hawthorne in May 2021 (17 points with 0 Critical Errors was not only close, but also a bigger improvement than I imagined). What failed me [at Torrance] was that Denker Av, when you turn left to the direction of the church and the car wash, it narrows down. Examiner grabbed the wheel and failed me then and there. I knew when and where I made my mistake and learned from it. If the street is super narrow, wait for oncoming traffic to clear and then go. In June, I returned to Hawthorne and ended up passing with only 10 points. Self improvement prevails. P.S. I'm surprised none of the examiners at Hawthorne asked if the car I was using from my driving school had cameras on it. The examiner told me this test is to test my driving abilities. I responded that I am aware and that I'm at ease.

Also be careful not to drive into the bike lane over 200 feet .

My younger brother took his test at Torrance on July 1, 2024, sometime at 3-ish in the afterrnoon. He got this route. He passed on his first attempt.
