Yup - Flexi 8 will hold it just fine. I find the flexi works great on all the one stick buns and can even hold a couple of the two stick buns, too.

I love this bun! I usually have to do buns as half-ups, but this one works great for my just-shy-of-BSL hair. Yay! Love the pink, too!

Yay!! A new bun I can do!! Love love love. It's SO comfortable. At first I wasn't putting my hair stick through enough of the bun so it was really loose, but then I had the "duhhh" moment to pull the stick through more of the bun. I can't get over how comfortable this is! I have ends poking out the top because I'm bad at tucking, but it kind of adds to the look. Do you think this bun could be held by a flexi-8?

Thanks Torrin! I just tried this and it feels so sturdy! I've never been able to get a nautilus to stay or feel very sturdy so I think this is going to work much better for me! :D

I liked the pink, too. This was a just a chalk dry run (no pun intended, heh) but I liked the pink the best. I also figure it'll fade to a pretty pastel so I think I can deal with that. I think I'm going to do it this weekend. Yay for change!

i have recently cut my hair rather short (went from bsl to clavicle lenth) it's currently around armpit length, so i have a hard time having styles that both stay and are comfortable but this one works wonders on me, much more doable than a nautilus thus far

The pink and the blue look beautiful (there is blue in there, yes? I'm not seeing things, am I? I have my volume on mute, so if you said there's blue, I'm sorry!) I think you should do dark pink. I don't know, I have it stuck in my head that you should either do dark (but bright) pink or like a dark blue. The pink would match your bubbly and extroverted personality and the blue would intensify your eye color and yet be totally you. (I totally think too much about something like this.)

Nadine Schommer Try wrapping looser and/or switching up where it's located on your head. I find that I need a higher bun as low buns make my scalp ache something fierce.
