I listen to tortoise for the first time 15 years ago and was immediately hooked. This should be teached in music lessons on school. Great musicians who have mindblowing skills in their instruments and make great enjoyable music too. Watch the Down Look Down sessions from Pitchfork heer on KZbin

I listened to some of their stuff but never bothered watching them live. Absolutely didn't expect them to play real instruments, always thought they were some kind of electronic duo like BoC, mind blowing and mind blowing performance btw. Felt in love with the trumpet that I'm glad it's not just a synth
