Hardcore survival RPG with non-linear story that lets you play as a young medieval soldier who over the course of battles and adventures becomes the most formidable and respected knight of his era. Or, if he’s not lucky enough, perishes in the chaos of the Hundred Years' War.
Heads Will Roll: Reforged lets the player to take a role of an ordinary medieval soldier who finds himself in the middle of the legendary Hundred Years War between the kings of England and France. You start your way as a simple footman, whose sole ambition is to survive, but with proper skill and cunning or through blood and preservation, you might soon see yourself becoming one of the most famous knights of your time.
This game is a unique type of RPG with survival mechanics and turn-based combat that requires player to make careful decision both inside and outside the fight. The sophisticated combat system utilizes many different parameters including characters’ stats and attributes, familiarity and proficiency with certain weapons, weapon length, fatigue level, various traumas and injuries, as well as hundreds of different items and consumables.

Just won my first game via the England/Noble path. Just some thoughts: The BS Hammer, Work Gloves, and Utility Knife can all push you to Crafting 27-30+ ... Saving you some Crafting points. The Fauld + Red Chain Mail makes pretty good Armor with low penalties. If you take the Huntsman perk w/ Hunting sword +/- knife trinket you'll be swimming in Leather... Making the boot/sheathe quest easier. Plus its good Long-term for Canteens/Waterskins. Update your Neck armor ASAP. Either a Chain or Scale gorget will do. IF you can score a Bevor your good for late game.

Thanks for the tips! I responded about the neck armor, haven't seen it useful in my runs yet, but I guess when I do see the use, it will be something awful like a one-hit kill.

@@TortugaPower The Roger fight and Ruffin will make you believe in Neck Armor.

The ring you get from Eva's actually pretty good for some of the longer fights you can get later on. I've not found a good counter to crossbows (short of killing the wielder), so it's quite nice to be able to heal the damage back up.

True, crossbows could be the one use-case. But I -- like you, it seems -- prioritize them and usually that's enough.

Tortuga is right; Eva has a kind heart and strong family values. As far as two-dimensional fictional characters go, she's a catch.

Tortuga, the SARGENT wants the Sheaths you CRAFT, and Leather Boots. The Boots are easy enough to find in the shop depending on your luck, the Leather Sheaths are the hard part. Also the Leather boots are good to have, otherwise you might have to fight a PACK OF WOLVES! Those guys are NASTY to deal with.

36:00 in terms of earlier clues that Canterbury did it, you've probably seen it already in some previous playthrough but if you take the loot from Bart you can get one more quest from him where you break in to the town hall and you can overhear a conversation between Ruffin and his mercs where we learn that Canterbury has some kind of devious plan

@@TortugaPower good thing i didnt spoil much then, i wanted to go in to more detail about the quest itself but it wasnt realy relevant and i tought youve seen it already anyway. By the way ive only did one playthrough of this game, i was playing on hard so i had the chance to explore more options, but i went to England with the earl (and pretty much hit a roadblock in chapter 7) so i probably wont have any interesting input in the future

If you Stay In Tavern you will rest very well, and start the adventure in the morning, I will tell you that! At night, there are perils, for The Night Is Dark and Full Of Coinloss
