A ce jour c'est pour moi la plus belle danse originale toutes danses confondues et toutes époques confondues, pour l'originalité de la chorégraphie (bravo Mr Christopher Dean) et tout simplement l'interprétation unique de ce couple exceptionnel. Cette rhumba est sensuelle sans excès et avec classe. C'était le temps où en danse sur glace la musique sans le chant était privilégié et où il n'y avait qu'un seul rythme imposé. Ca n'empêchait pas l'originalité.

T&D getting 5.2s at this stage in their careers is unbelievable but not all that shocking. Especially with the Eastern European bias that was rampant back then. Jayne & Chris will always be number one to me. 6.0!

The 5.2 seems ridiculous but seeing their compulsories at the Olympics that was definitely their weaker part at this stage. It makes sense since compulsory dances are like compulsory dances, they have to be trained repeatedly, and being out of amateur competition for 10 years that is where it would show the most. Their free dance at the Olympics was definitely undermarked, but their compulsory results at both the Olympics and Europeans (tied for 2nd at Europeans, 3rd at the Olympics) make sense.

5,2 was this rigged or something or was it the bitterness because they were already champions I mean come on that dance was worth a good 5,9/6,0 the judges must of had their eyes shut for the dance !

the 5.2 they received was for one of their compulsory dances, not this original dance.

Это просто классика. Прекрасно,что олимпийская редакция румбы 1994 не хуже показательного танца 82/83 года. И в этом разделе им не было равных и в Лиллехаммере. Ну а итоги,бог судья судьям из стран бывшего Союза и стран Восточной Европы. Тем более,что Ирина Абсолямова,голос которой и позволил Грищук и Платова стать впервые олимпийскими чемпионами,уже в могиле!!!
