I still believe to this day that Quan showing up to 'testify' was a bluff that got got called out. They HOPED him appearing would psych the prosecution out into offering a plea or even dismissing the case altogether. The defense never had any intention of actually putting him on the stand because Quan was never going to testify that Kelsey did it. And he was never going to testify that Tory didn't do it. And no way would anything he had to say would stand up to cross-examination. Which not-so-coincidentally is what Shawn Holley told Tory in those privileged emails.

The amount hoops people have to jump through disprove Tory was the person who shot Megan is insane. The jail phone call with him apologizing, him saying on social media that Kelsey didn’t shoot Megan, the body cam footage, Kelsey’s texts, etc. I didn’t even know there was footage of Kelsey comforting Megan. My mom can shoot me by a mistake and I wouldn’t let her get near me to comfort me for years so the fact that Meg felt safe around Kelsey tells me Kelsey didn’t shoot her.

But when they ran the X-rays and did the surgery, it wasn't glass the surgeon pulled out of her feet. Once again, it established on DAY ONE of testimony that Megan was shot. The defense had 2 and a half YEARS to claim Megan wasn't shot. They never did. Megan testified and was cross examined...NOT ONE accusation by the defense that she was never shot.

I just have to laugh. There was literally no evidence that was substantially presented at all. They didn't have bullet fragments to present. Kelsey, the main witness that was neutral, stated everything I told the DA was a lie. She did the eighty minute interview just to get immunity. When she was asked by Tory's defense if you had the gun at any point. She repeatedly pleads the fifth. Kelsey and Tory had gunpowder residue, yet only Tory was investigated and tried. EJ Megan's stylist, who was at the party that night, "stated when the girls do not have security. They bring weapons to protect themselves. " Both women, while on the stand stated, I don't recall when asked about their bags that they placed in Tory's car. As stated earlier, the gun was Olive Green, and 9mm are preferably used by women. Mr. Kelly, the eye witness over Megan and Kelsey's fight. Stated that once the fight got to the end. He saw the shorter girl go to the car and retrieve something. Then he saw flashes going off near her towards the bigger girl. Then, the men got out to stop the girls. Tory ran to Kelsey. This can be found in the first set of transcripts when Mr. Kelly talked to the lead detective. Mind you, Kelly's testimony changed when he met with the DA. These are just some of the reasons why she'll never recover from this.

@@INDIA_BEE have you ever been around anyone who has let off a gun? It doesn't even take 30 seconds to wipe off. DNA comes up inconclusive usually when it's wiped off or "tampered" with and isn't always or even needed to WIN a case unless it proves definite identity and there is other substantial evidence. There a lawyer on youtube named Bruce that actually explains this and why its not even a factor in actual court rooms because you can't use what you don't have.
