"Austerity" was cuts caused by the previous Labour government admitted to leaving no funds in the kitty - you know, like the current government are doing because of what they SAY they inherited. And the cuts were part of a package to restore stability to the finances. This lot are saving peanuts by freezing pensioners while throwing money away in other directions. When you say the "mini budget" I assume you mean Liz Truss;s budget. The one that was never implemented apart from the bit handing out billions to help people afford their energy bills during the world wide energy price crisis - but perhaps you agree with letting people freeze to death, like Reeves and Sir Beer. As for corruption, we have seen more in 5 months than we did in 14 years.
