The Labour right ran Corbyn and Co. out in no small part by equating criticisms of the Israeli Government with anti-Semitism. I do wonder how this has now played into Labours political calculations with regards to its current position on Israel/Palestine. By the measure they themselves set (criticism of Israel = anti-Semitism), they must be thinking that if they show anything but absolute support for Israel they'll at best be called hypocrites and at worst be labelled anti-Semitic.

Just one comment for peace talks which was said here . Israel offered the Palestinians a peace agreement several times but since 1968 the Arabs followed the Mantra which was said : not talking with Israel, not negotiation with Israel and no recognition in Israel. Israel offered them back all their territories, twice. in 2000 and in 2008. The answer for these offers were NO. Twice. Why? Because they cannot deny their agenda which says: Palestine from the Jordan river to the sea, clean of Jews. That's why. Maybe the next generation of them will be wiser..

I think it is interesting that an on line polling company Muslim Census have carried out a recent poll and among the 30,000 respondents the results showed a massive drob in support for Labour and Starmer from 71% down to 5% which according to @KeromDamo would lead to Labour losing around 31 seats. This is all down to two issues namely Starmer refusing to apologise for what he said on L.B.C. last week and his refusal to call for a cease fire. What I find even more incredulous is the report that when Starmer met with Muslim Labour M.P.'s he refused to call for a cease fire and said he would not do so until Joe Biden had done so first ... WTF! I think Starmer has achieved the impossible here ... he has unbelievably pulled defeat from the jaws of vixctory at the next General Election.

Labour won't lose, they are guaranteed to win, because the majority of the British public back Israel. Starmer is not stupid, he may lose some muslim votes, but it will be insignificant to what he would lose if he went against Israel.

Activists might get hot under the collar on this issue but most UK citizens just think conflicts are tools for the parties that want violence and have little or no common ground to perpetuate violence which suit their agenda. The innocent are bound to suffer as the combatants have embedded themselves within and under their populations.
