FYI: BIOS battery is on the underside, sitting behind the SD card reader, follow the small black/red wires. Good luck finding another one though :-(

I think it's one of the easy laptops to service, but not in first go and those connectors are for advanced tinkers and small people.

Just put this back together n it comes on but blank display and no lights by trackpad at all any ideas to what is causing this issue mate

I have just dissassemble the same unit, after that screen doesn't display anything. Any idea of why that can happen and how to fix that?

Hi. Try clean a ram slot, or try a new module. If its not work, maybe you demaged anything or circuit board. Or just the BGA soldering broked.... I see that shit :D Good luck
