I had one of these way back in the mid '80s. My first stereo radio cassette. I then replaced it with an RT-140S, which had auto-reverse, which I thought was epic back then !

I also dismantled my radio. And I took the buttons out of the cassette player. And after I put the buttons back on it started to click when playing and the play button pops back on when I press it. How do I put it back so it doesn't click and bounce back? Thanks in advance for your help!

This happens when the automatic stop is activated. I'm sorry, but I don't remember what to do... Maybe you are trying without an audio cassette?
