I think what’s so captivating about Reflections is the atmosphere it creates. It develops with feeling of longing, or reminisce of something that once was. I believe I heard it the first time in an animation and whewww that violin is magical. All his songs have this nostalgia feel that is just so beautiful

Sadness hits the hardest when you are alone, it takes control over you when you are vulnerable and alone. That bitter feeling in your heart, comes out and you finally let everything out. The music helps the sadness by adding a little bit of sweetness. The feeling of bittersweet, or nostalgia.

I have explored a vast array of musical genres and forms, including classical music, but I must confess-there is something uniquely enchanting about this piece. The emotions it evokes are unparalleled, delivering a pleasure so profound that it feels as though I am being lifted out of the world’s clamor and transported to a realm dominated by silence and peace. It brings an indescribable sense of relief, a sanctuary for the soul. What’s astonishing is how addictive it becomes. I can’t recall ever listening to the same piece of music every single day for over two years, yet here I am, unable to let it go. As it plays, it seems to awaken the dormant corners of my mind. Every book that has ever ignited my imagination resurfaces, their vivid scenes unspooling before me as though I am no longer a mere reader but a firsthand witness to their stories. It’s surreal-an experience unlike anything I’ve felt before. I imagine this music as the perfect companion to a serene evening, reading by the fire in an old, majestic mansion, snow softly falling outside. It paints a picture of life far removed from the chaos of bustling cities and the noise that often fills our minds. For me, this music is a doorway to escape, a passage to tranquility. Thank you, Toshifumi, for creating such a masterpiece.

I’m imagining a whole scene rn about a child seeing a war happening infront of their eyes, seeing people die, including family, friends and getting older, and the war never ends. And he dies, the war finally is over and now there’s peace. Hinata made some beatiful masterpieces.

This song reminds me of a time where I waited for the one, yes the one. In a cafe that shimmers sunlight only when it's golden hour outside, as I wrote in my journal all the past memories that of which I used to live. Only to find out that what I've been yearning for this entire time was for that special person to have the same feeling as I felt, every time I saw their face. I know it's foolish of me to even write this here, but please read my message with heart. & know you're worth it even if your special person doesn't realize it. You're a special person in someone else's heart.
